Food Design & Photoshoots

The creative process for food cover shoots starts with a crave-worthy concept.
From sketching out ideas, to building mood boards, collaborating with photographers,
food stylists (sometimes, that’s myself), and editors to lock in the overall vision. After narrowing down best shots, it’s time to bring it into layout, playing with typography and composition of additional textual elements to make sure the image not only pops on the page, but makes you hungry or thirsty, just looking at it.
